Description :
At Bedgebury Forest, Goudhurst in Kent, we will be using a gazebo as the registration centre which will be right next to the start and finish by the Go Ape area. The Visitors Centre and parking are less than five minutes walk away.
There is a choice of two courses, 3.2 miles or 6.4 miles and you don't need to decide when entering. If after the first lap you decide you want to continue, just head through the start to commence the second lap.

Location
The 2018 Bedgebury Buggy Running Events will be held at Bedgebury Forest and Pinetum. Please use the postcode TN17 2SJ and enter via the main entrance off Lady Oak Lane (B2079). The forest is signposted from the A21.
Start Times
You can start anytime between 9am and 11pm so when ready just turn up and follow the instructions from the start official. If anyone wants to start in a wave then competitors are more than welcome to meet in the start area to go off at 09.00, 09.30, 10.00, 10.30 and 11.00
Parking
There is no designated parking area for the event so just choose a parking space where available.
Bedgebury Forest can accommodate over 500 cars so there will be plenty of spaces close to the Visitor Centre. There is a reduced vehicle admission fee of £3 if you depart by 11am otherwise, if you don't have a Friends of Bedgebury parking pass, then the full day admission fee is £13. Payment is made at the machines in the car park.
Timing System
We will be using the SPORTident timing system which basically consists of two pieces of equipment, a SPORTident station, which will be at the start, nappy changing tent and finish and a SI-Card which is attached to your finger. The station records the time when the SI-Card is dipped into the hole in the station. A memory chip in the SI-Card stores information about each station visited. After finishing you then download this SI-Card and your individual result will be available soon after.
Finish and Prizes
When you reach the finish, which is next to the start and registration you must hand back the SI-Card. You will also receive a print-out of your time and real-time results will hopefully also be available. You will also receive two medals, certificate and a sticker set for finishing the course. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st male and female competitors on each course.
Registration
We’ll be using a gazebo for registration which will also contain a selection of running buggies. The start and finish will also be next to registration which is opposite Go Ape. The Visitors Centre is less than five minutes walk and is uphill. Please follow the orange signs from the mountain biking centre in the car park which will direct you to registration. When you arrive, please visit the registration desk where you can collect your race number and the specialist timing chip called an SI-Card. Once registered and ready to run, just head straight to the start which will be next to registration.
